Sounds like some kind of weird band name, doesn’t it??
Just thought I’d let everyone know that his rash is now pink and drying up VERY well. We went to Mike’s mom’s last night and we forgot our medicine. She only had First Aid cream, so we used that and that’s what wound up staying on [...]

Thanks to ewokmama for the idea of this entry.
I say only motherhood because that’s the sex I represent and the only one I can speak for, but I am sure it is very similar for fathers.
Most women suffer from post-partum depression after having a child if they suffer from any form of mental health issues.
I [...]

Since I talked to the doctor and was prescribed Lotrimin for Aidan’s rash/blisters, I’ve used nothing but that. Here’s how it goes.
Aidan poops everytime he eats. Sometimes he poops every hour. It’s a mustardy color, usually and has the chunks in it (from the formula). He used to poop only once a day. Since he [...]

Is pitching a fit ingrained????
Aidan is now showing frustration/irritation by pitching afit. He’ll kick his legs up and out while making the “NUH!” grunt. What I want to know is where he learned this from. He’s never around any other infants, or anyone hardly at all.
He’s also learning to scoot himself with his legs. To [...]

As I had my yard sale this past weekend, we kept Aidan outside with us since he hardly ever does. We made sure to keep him in the shade under the carport.
Apparently that wasn’t good enough. He still got red cheeks. I think it was a windburn, but then again the sunlight could’ve reflected off [...]

Diaper rash: So, Aidan has a horrible diaper rash. It’s more like blisters on his butt with just redness right around them. They’re mostly along his crack, closer to his genitals. It started off as just redness/irritation. I immediately started using Desitin, but it has only gotten worse. I solicited advise from all of the [...]

It’s so delightful to wake your baby and then receive a smile for doing so. It’s ever better when they bring their hands together and give you an ear-to-ear smile!! It’s like they’re tickled to see you.
I love it!!!!!
Aidan is cooing more and more now. I can see him curling his tongue at times and [...]

My body is starting to really return to it’s pre-pregnancy state. Healing takes a lot longer than you think. Well, longer than I thought.
Last week I sat down on the ground outside and when I plopped down on the ground, I discovered that I’m still tender as it felt like I had just fell onto [...]

I took Aidan to the hearing doctor to check to see if the vernix plug fully cleared and he got an A+!!! I really liked the doctor; he was very gentle and soft-spoken and apparently well-experienced with infants in the health-care setting. (Jess if you ever need to take Cailyn to an ear, nose or [...]

AS I said before, we went to the doctor today and received a well baby diagnosis. Yay! I asked all of my questions/concerns and he reassured me that everything is normal. HE’s perfectly healthy. We will be scheduling an appointment with a urologist and a hearing doc.
Aidan is now 12 lbs. 14 ozs., [...]
