Bananas, peaches and applesauce…oh my!

So this solid food thing isn’t going so well. I know it’s just because he’s had nothing but milk and rice since he was born and that’s what he’s used to.
And I’m certain that he’ll eventually adjust to it, but for now, I’m sure a lot will be wasted and coating his bibs and burp [...]

Solid food time!!

Tonight we attempted to feed Aidan solid food to no avail. We gave him peas, but he absolutely hated it. I may take the other jars in and trade them for something else.
I have pictures of him making the most hideous faces. Poor baby!

Aidan’s newest thing is pulling my hair. He’ll grab ahold of it and sometimes balls his fist right up in it. And when I don’t notice and try to change positions, YANK!!! It’s really painful when he has some baby hairs in there.

Watery eye…

So now Aidan has a watery eye and when it comes out in eye boogers its yellow, like from pollen. Also, the watery stuff is kind of sticky. I called his doctor and they said it could be allergies or pink eye, but his eye color is fine.

My first official mother’s day!

And I spent it at work.
I became a step-mother last year, but not until after mother’s day. So this is actually my first one overall!!! Happy momma’s day to everyone outt there!

We’ve been helping Aidan learn how to sit up and he’s doing quite well. He can sit alone for a few seconds, but he does lean forward just a smidge.
