So I decided to make a post about the things that help make my days go by easier. Things every mother needs to help keep her sane when times are tough.
1. Clorox anywhere disinfecting spray – This stuff is “as gentle as soap and water” and can be used on any hard surface. I love [...]

I just wanted to briefly post this before writing out my other post.
I just love how Aidan’s room glows in the morning when the sun is rising and shining through his window!! You can’t really feel the warm glow from the pic, but this is all natural light:
You can also see his new rug that [...]

Last night I made Baked Dijon Chicken, Italian pasta salad (rigatoni pasta) and cream corn. It was so delicious!!! The chicken was a little uncooked in the center, because it comes so thick in the package, that my cooking times are off. Regardless, it was a nice meal. We have lots of leftovers!! We still [...]

I failed to mention the fact that my little man decided to throw his first stomping-of-the-feet tantrum two days ago.
I forgot about this until I read Jess’ blog, Mommy Has Tattoos.
It was quite entertaining actually. He was strolling around the kitchen in his roller chair and was fussy because he refused to go to sleep. Then [...]

As I was cutting up brownies I had just baked, Aidan made a funny grunt as he was bouncing in his chair. It was disgruntled sound, as if he was in distress or something. It was just different and I picked up on that.
I went into the living room to check on him – I don’t [...]

Whenever Aidan is playing with a toy, he always puts it through the 4 S-Test: Shake, Scratch, Smack and Slobber. He’s so funny and predictable.
What’s even funnier and cute is whenever he’s briskly playing with a toy and suddenly the tag becomes visible, the whole world slows down and playtime pauses. He stares the tag down, [...]

I still can’t watch Baby Story without crying. It’s exciting to watch the birth of a new life in this world. It’s even more exciting when it’s yourself. I am very fortunate and thankful that I can do this. It’s quite an experience. I think it makes me sad because it’s not in my plans [...]

For some reason, Aidan likes to scratch his thigh when I’m changing his diaper. He digs his nails in to the point that he has red lines and it’s all irritated.
He was so cute today, he fell asleep in his bouncy chair because I put him back in it when he wouldn’t go to sleep [...]

Uhh….Aidan had the worst doodie experience ever.
He was in his rainforest bouncer when he stopped, leaned over and stared at me. I thought maybe he was going to puke again because he had just vomitted (for the first time in a LONG while). So I kept a close eye on him. Then came a grunt. [...]

Aidan has been doing the old man with no teeth lip-pop thing that all babies do. We’ve also been trying to get him to wave at people. This is all over the past week. He has become more vocal again and has all kinds of the cutest squeals and noises. I love it!!!
Today, Mike came [...]
