Sunburn/Windburn

As I had my yard sale this past weekend, we kept Aidan outside with us since he hardly ever does. We made sure to keep him in the shade under the carport.

Apparently that wasn’t good enough. He still got red cheeks. I think it was a windburn, but then again the sunlight could’ve reflected off of the concrete and caused it. He didn’t seem lit up at anytime, so if it did, it was subtly.

My mother advised me to use vaseline on his cheeks to help. Anyone else suggest anything different?

  1. My son gets red cheeks a lot but I haven’t done anything for them. He’s just got sensitive skin (gets it from his dad). I asked my husband and sister-in-law what they do and they don’t even notice it so I just leave the cheeks alone.
